Corporate Event Photography

A strong social media presence and a fantastic, easy to navigate website is essential on this day and age for promoting your brand, products and services, it's the images that catch the eye.

Whether it's for external marketing and promotion or for internal communication such as newsletters, even if you just want to document and create a record of your event, visual content is the perfect way to show off new content to both customers and staff alike.

Corporate events are a really effective way for companies to engage with employees or customers. If you have a role within an organisation's management, marketing or human resources departments, running corporate events can help your career and your business. So what exactly are corporate events? A corporate event is one that's sponsored by a company and focuses on either its employees or clients. There are many reasons for organizing a corporate event, with some of the most popular being:

To educate staff or members of the public regarding various concepts promoted by the organization, motivate employees by rewarding them for their work, to celebrate various company milestones along with clients, employees or both, to mark a significant organisational change within the company and to encourage collaboration and networking.

There are many different types of corporate events ranging from conferences, product launches and trade shows to awards ceremonies, team building events and company milestones. Why not have keep a record of the event with relaxed, documentary, reportage style photography. It’ll give you some great memories for everyone to look back on, emphasising the team building and the camaraderie as everyone enjoys looking back though all of the photographs and further growing morale in the team. It’s unfortunately a part and parcel of running a business that staff sadly do leave and new team members recruited, so having great photographs of past events are great for promoting future events and generating interest for the new ones, giving them something to look forward to.

The way I approach my wedding photography, the things I’ve learned during that time have stood me in good stead and it is also the way I approach photographing events too. I want to tell the story of your event, capturing the action as and when it happens during the activities. Most of the subjects are on the move, you don’t always know what’s going to happen next and it can often involve a more formal environment. A good photographer should still be able to come up with great creative shots even if the corporate environment does not always offer up a lot of opportunities for this, so I then have to push myself and look for different opportunities to still capture all those great shots you will want to use to showcase your event. After the event is over, all of the images will be individually edited and uploaded to safe, secure and password protected online gallery and they’re there ready for you to download, share and with full licence to print, use as and when you want in your business.
