What does Storytelling photography really mean? Well I’m sure you will have probably heard the phrase “ a picture is worth a thousand words” in the past, it just means a picture can tell a story much quicker and more effectively than the written word can. If you have read a really good book, what it was that hooked you in? Photographs can do the same, but they do it straight away. They should convey everything you want to get from reading a book, the same emotions, reactions and grabbing your attention, leaving you wanting to know more. A great photograph enables the viewer to get essence of the story without a word being written or spoken. I try to do with every photograph I take and album I design. Now imagine those individual photographs put together in an album that flows from one page to the next, that is why it’s called a Wedding Storybook, it’s your story!
