So you have now got all of those lovely photographs from your amazing, perfect wedding day, you’ve looked at them again and again and again, well for a few month or so you did anyway and then you’ve gone and shoved the usb stick in a drawer and put it somewhere safe so you don’t lose it! The chances are it is going to be a fair while before you remember that they are still there or you will more than likely come across them again when you’re next having a sort out, you’ll then go and put it to one side and will grab it again next time you’ve got the computer…maybe? If you remember. It’s such a shame really, because you both looked absolutely awesome on your wedding day and those photos deserve to been seen, be everyone!

I am speaking from experience here too, I was determined that when we got our wedding photos back that I wanted at least one piece of wall art going up and what started off as one large 20x30 inch acrylic canvas at the top of the stairs, it was soon joined by 3 Amalfi Panels in a row, one under the other up in the living room. Donna decided she liked them more than she thought she would and we now have what could easily be described as a wall gallery running up the stairs with 20 odd prints from our wedding, all in different sizes. I think it looks great and often catch myself stopping to look at them almost every time I’m going up and down the stairs. I just couldn’t do that if they where still on a little plastic stick in some drawer somewhere and I doubt I’d be bothered getting the laptop out to have a scroll through them all very often so it has certainly drilled the point home to me just how important it is to print photographs. It’s just not the same if you can’t look at them whenever you like.

If you’re planning on decorating a room in your home in the future, why not make getting a piece of wall art part of your plan? Perfect for complimenting your new decor, it’s a personal touch making a home feel more homely. And if there’s no plans to head to B&Q for wallpaper and paint just yet, even just putting up a picture or two can give a tired room a new lease of life.
