Every wedding is unique and we aim to help tailor make your day to suit your wishes. Our team is on hand throughout the planning stages to help suggest as much or as little as you wish. We have great links with suppliers and even have our own venue dressing service. Our Chef has devised menus that are both popular and elegant with locally sourced produce wherever possible. He would be delighted to create a bespoke menu for you and your guests. We are licensed for civil marriages/ceremonies & same sex marriages/civil partnerships which can take place in all our suites, Garden Pagoda & Lakeside Arbour. In England & Wales from the 10th December 2014 you are able to convert a civil partnership registered in England & Wales to a marriage, contact the sales office for more details. Or have you thought about renewing your wedding vows and reliving you big day with family and friends? Thornton Hall Hotel is a four-star family-owned hotel, set in beautiful gardens in one of Wirral's most attractive villages, Thornton Hough, an area steeped in history, the former seat of the Lever Hulme family in 1888 and the home of William Lever, arguably the world’s greatest philanthropic industrialist. In the same year, Lever began construction of Port Sunlight factory and village for his workers and over the next 25 years, Lever rebuilt the magnificent historic country estate Thornton Manor, another stunning wedding venue not too far away and one which remains virtually unchanged to this day. The Thornton Hall hotel has built up a fine reputation for service and hospitality, providing excellent food in the award-winning and 3 AA Rosette restaurant and is mentioned in the Michelin Guide and it was also named 'North West Asian Wedding Venue of the Year'.
