"We are not a Manor, Hall or Castle. We are not a Barn, Hotel or Estate, we are ASHFIELD HOUSE. When couples take over exclusively for their wedding day, our house becomes like their home and we become like their extended family! Our house is a gorgeous blank canvas for weddings, it is grand yet homely and is jam packed full of quirky details (old and new) yet somehow manages to soak up the personality of each couple. The atmosphere here is full of love and joy, probably because of the absolute legends that make up our wedding team, busy doing their dream job day in day out! Our house and our team are laid back, fun, creative and wild – but not so hipster your Nan wont approve!"
Built in 1755, this Victorian country house has enjoyed extensions and renovations to restore the heritage of the house while retaining a nod to its history and is set in extensively wooded and beautifully landscaped grounds this gorgeous old building was very nearly sold off and turned into apartments back in 2008, luckily the current owner Kate saw its' amazing potential and transformed Ashfield House into a stunning wedding venue, one of the best in the area and one of my favourites. The stylish venue features eclectic decor and modern quirky twists on the traditional wedding including a dedicated bridal sitting room, outdoor wood fired pizza oven and gin cupboard. Well worth checking out if you're looking at venues for your wedding.
