Wedding Thoughts and Ideas...
Useful bits of wedding planning information for Brides
(and Grooms of course!!)
So you've got over the shock and surprise of the proposal, you've had the engagement party and are now starting to look at potential dates and drawing up a list of possible wedding venues...
Planning a wedding can seem like a lot of hard work and it can feel pretty overwhelming at times, it's fun sure but there's a lot to organise from picking the venue, choosing the dress, who you're having as your Bridesmaids, the Best Man and Groomsmen, the wedding flowers... exciting but so much to do and so little time.
When it comes to wedding planning, there’s no right or wrong way to do it but whether you have two years or three months to do it, it can be stressful. There's some absolutely brilliant guides out there to help you with planning the day from start to finish and a quick google search is a great starting point on where to start, with tips from Bride.com. Hitched, The Knot, confetti to name just a few.
It can seem like a list of endless tasks that you need to plough through but it really needn't be, they'll hold your hand through it and point you in the right direction. As a wedding photographer I've got quite a bit of experience myself in what happens on a wedding day so I've put together a few thoughts and ideas from things I've seen and learned from my point of view as a wedding photographer covering wedding venues across the North West, hopefully to try and help you out a little bit and make things go smoothly on the big day.
I'll be updating the site as I go and as i come up with new ideas and tips, so keep checking back or head to the Wedding Blog to see more of my helpful hints and tips. Try to enjoy the whole planning process and most of all, have a great wedding day
