I have to admit, I hadn’t heard of Nunsmere Hall before I was lucky enough to have been asked by Jemma and Brad to photograph their wedding. I always have a quick look on Google whenever I get an enquiry for somewhere new and I was absolutely blown away when I saw the venue, it is stunning. if you have found this page it is probably because you’ve been looking at Nunsmere Hall or other wedding venues in Cheshire and I can honestly say that if you’re booking here you’ve made the right choice. It’s now one of my absolute favourite wedding venues I’ve ever photographed at.

Wedding Ceremony in the The Crystal Suite
From a “getting the best from your wedding photographs” point of view, the Crystal Suite is an ideal ceremony room, it’s flooded with beautiful, filtered, natural light from the huge will of windows that run the full length of the room bathing you and your guests in the best light you could wish for. It’s a nice wide room so there’s plenty of space for room decor and of course your guests as well without everyone being squashed in and there’s still more than enough room for the photographer to have the chance to move around and get some shots from different angles too.

The Gardens And Grounds at Nunsmere Hall
What more can I say about the grounds and gardens at Nunsmere Hall? They are absolutely stunning. They make the perfect backdrop for your couple portraits. From the short woodland walk through a part of Delamere Forest down to a jetty overlooking the picture perfect Nunsmere Lake surrounded by the Cheshire forestland, it’s breathtakingly beautiful. Who wouldn’t want to make the most of the most amazing landscape, imagine a huge print up or piece of beautiful wall art up in the living room. Usually couples allow 30 minutes to an hour for the portrait photos and that’s usually steered by the wedding venue and their timings but you could easily use that time up around the lake or in the woods, never mind making the most of the perfectly manicured gardens and the house itself, so I promise it’ll definitely be worth giving yourselves more time than you think you’ll need.

The Brocklebank Suite
Like the Crystal Suite, Brocklebank is another lovely wide room with lots of natural day light flooding in and lighting the room and with lots of space to create the vision for your perfect day.

The Marquee
