The Cave
Merrydale Manor, has recently introduced the newest, tailor-made addition to the venue – The Cave.
The Cave serves as an ideal space for the Groom and Groomsmen to unwind and relax prior to the ceremony. Designed for relaxing and to alleviate any last-minute jitters, it's perfect for the final preparations and is conveniently situated adjacent to The Ceremony Room (separate from the Bride if she is staying in the Manor House beforehand). Inside, the cave offers rustic charm with a modern twist, featuring a cozy seating area, offering both comfort and style, creating a superb backdrop for pre-wedding photos. honestly I could have stayed and just enjoyed the room myself.
Take your pick between playing table football, lounging in front of the TV, or engaging in some retro gaming fun playing Space Invaders, there's also a small area available for changing before the ceremony and a complimentary fridge stocked with refreshing drinks at your disposal.
The Makeup Suite
Step into the elegant and thoughtfully designed Makeup Suite, meticulously tailored to meet your every need. This fantastic space serves as sanctuary for wedding preparations and is exclusively available to couples who have booked the Manor House at Merrydale Manor Cheshire Wedding Venue.
The Makeup Suite has an air of refined elegance and practically equipped with six hair and makeup stations, an abundance of power points for curling and straightening, and a full-length mirror, it provides everything you require to prepare in style. There's an inviting, cozy lounge area to unwind, enjoy a glass of bubbly, and engage in delightful conversations with your bridesmaids.
The Ceremony Room
Exchange your wedding vows in the enchanting setting of Merrydale Manor, there's always the option to choose an outdoor ceremony, if the temperamental British weather allows or play it safe and go for Merrydale's lovely civil ceremony room. This picturesque room with beamed ceilings, and ample natural light, creates a truly wonderful modern, rustic space for saying your I Do's.
To ensure availability, it's worth checking with the registrar as soon as you pick an available date at Merrydale Manor. It is definitely a good idea to book both the venue and the registrar on the same day to avoid disappointment and having to reschedule dates and times.
Currently, Cheshire East Registrars are offering ceremony times at 10:00 am, 12:00 pm, 2:00 pm, 4:00 pm, and 6:00 pm and you can contact them at 01270 375140 during office hours.

The manicured lawns and gardens at Merrydale offer a perfect setting to entertain children with fun garden games. The Merrydale Suite
